The development of a state of the art facility, possible through the CAF (Community Adjustment Fund) funding, will accelerate nGen’s vision of cluster development in the digital interactive media sector. Through increased incubation and access to new technologies, nGen will be able to strengthen its sustainability as a hub for digital interactive media development in the Niagara Region. Opportunity provided through this fund will strengthen Niagara’s position as a leader in this sector.
This expansion will encompass the 2nd and 3rd floors of nGen's current location at 1 St. Paul Street. The new facility will house a datacentre, a render farm, a high-end editing and composition suite, a production studio, an audio recording facility, a motion capture system, a high definition screening and presentation theatre, along with a research and development lab containing a 3D scanner and 3D printer.
